By Doc Klein, I Start Wondering Columnist
(Editor’s Note: We often fill our lives to the brim, even during times of the year when we don’t face the holiday bustle. Columnist Doc Klein suggests that taking time out of each day to play can help us step away from the daily treadmill so we can develop a vision for how we want our life to go. That’s an important concept to think about as we prepare to enter a new year. Enjoy!)
ADD A LITTLE PLAY TO YOUR DAY
i try to play everyday
no i do not have kids, but kids are my teachers
i watch how they play and try to play like they do.
For example kids are always making things up out of whatever is available to make stuff up from.
Just a little play today
a little play that makes me smile
after being serious in my meetings
i need to get silly for a little while
sometimes i make stuff up
just to see what might could be
a world that i most could live in
a world for you and me
